About
Music.JPG

I’m a music teacher, songwriter, and a believer in the power of slowing down.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the quiet magic of music. It started with a blue Art & Lutherie guitar I named "Ol’ Blue"—a 15th-birthday gift that I still play today. Whether it’s the muscle memory of those first chords or the lessons my mom taught me on the piano, music has always been the way I find my center.

From Cape Town to Central Oregon I’ve played piano on stages and guitar on back porches. I’ve taught travelers in the Philippines, neighbors in South Africa, and now, my own community here in Central Oregon. No matter the setting, the story is the same: Music brings us home to ourselves.

"Low Pressure, High Connection" is the core for my musical space—Don’t Fret: Music with Marc—is an invitation to explore music without the race to the top. There is no pressure to perform here; just a steady encouragement to keep going.

Whether you’re here to strum your first chord, find a new practice rhythm, or simply find an excuse to touch your instrument today—you’re right on time & in the right place.

Let’s make something beautiful.

I brought my old ukulele to class — the one my son left behind when he moved out — and I didn’t think I could play a note. But Marc didn’t laugh or rush. He just smiled and said, ‘Let’s see what it remembers.’ That first chord sounded better than I expected.
